OSU Dancesport Classic 2013
The UT Ballroom Dance Society competes in multiple collegiate competitions throughout the school year. Competitions give dancers the opportunity to see how their skills compare to those of other dancers that compete in their division. Competitors generally compete with a partner in the six basic smooth and rhythm dances we cover in lessons: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha, Rumba, and Swing. Our Wednesday night practices focus on learning the steps and technique that will help you get ready for competition. It's also a great way to improve your dancing while experiencing ballroom at its fullest. Members are welcome to compete or spectate. You can email us at UToledoBallroomDanceSociety@gmail.com if you have any other questions.
USA Dance Rulebook: In this file you can find all the rules and regulations of competitive Ballroom Dancing, including dress code and syllabus moves. You may review it if you'd like and plan on going to competition! But don't worry we will be going over everything you need to know before hand.
